GORE-TEX Fabrics, a strong supporter on rainy and snowy days
What is GORE-TEX Membrane?
Grips firmly even on slippery road surfaces and offers comfortable walking
PU injection molding method prevents shoe soles from peeling off
Extremely strict quality standardss
TOP DRY adopts GORE-TEX Fabrics with superior waterproof durability and breathability. Shoe insides never get wet even on rainy and snowy days and maintain a dry and comfortable environment.
※The combination of high durability liner fabric and GORE-TEX Membrane is GORE-TEX Fabrics.

GORE-TEX Membrane is an infinitely thin film material with numerous microscopic pores. As the pores are much smaller than water droplets, no droplets and wind enter the inside of the shoe from the outside. Therefore, GORE-TEX Membrane prevents feet from getting wet and keeps them warm. On the other hand, these microscopic pores are large enough to allow water vapor to pass through, and the moisture of sweat from feet efficiently passes out of the footwear to create a comfortable “environment.”
◎Do you know the difference between waterproof and water repellent? “Waterproof is a function that prevents water from entering the inside of a shoe, while “water repellent” is a function to repel water on the surface of a fabric or leather. “Water repellent” is a function that improves the waterproof properties of a shoe, and only a water repellent property allows water to enter the inside of a shoe. TOP DRY® is waterproof.
As ceramic particles, glass fibers and other components are compounded into a special rubber with superior grip performance, so you can enjoy walking comfortably even on ice-covered slippery roads.
A sole is directly glued to the upper material at the same time as a sole is formed using polyurethane. There is no gap in the joint of the sole and upper material. This is a special manufacturing method to make it harder for water to enter the inside of a shoe and to peel a sole. As popular hard inner soles (made by the cement manufacturing method) are not used, the flexibility and the cushioning property are excellent.
“Flex test” to confirm waterproof durability based on the assumption of actual walking. “Breathability test” to confirm the high level of breathability. Also the water absorption rate and the flex durability of the upper material and other components are inspected. Strict tests are performed.
